**A Day in the Life**
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
+ Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
+ Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
+ Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
+ Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
+ Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
+ Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
+ Management Skills: Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Collaboration and Productivity Software, Effective Communication Skills.
+ Functional Skills: Machining and Manufacturing Technologies, Proficient computer skills, Data Science and Analysis, Lean Manufacturing and continued improvement, Managing Quality.
**PEOPLE MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONAL CAREER STREAM:** Management and supervisory professionals with one or more employees who are focused on tactical, operational and some strategic activities within a specified area. Levels within the management career stream typically have six or more direct reports. The majority of time is spent overseeing their area of responsibility, managing performance, developing talent, engagement and inclusion, communicating business and operational developments, planning, prioritizing and / or directing the responsibilities of direct reports. Goal achievement is typically accomplished through performance of direct and / or indirect reports. A key responsibility of roles in this career stream is managing people. which includes: accountability for mentoring, developing and coaching staff on meeting/exceeding performance expectations and defined objectives, providing leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals and targets, conducting performance reviews, and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development efforts and manage toward departmental goals.

**Leadership and Talent Management:** Supervises a team consisting of employees in the Support career stream only, such as production, technician, or clerical individual contributors A first level supervisor.
Provides day-to-day work direction for team, focused on maintaining steady workflow, resource allocation and productivity.
Provides primary input to hiring, firing, promotion, performance and rewards decisions for direct reports.
**Required Knowledge and Experience:** Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

**POSITION SUMMARY**
Responsible for all on-site details for executing group events, develop and follow checklist/itinerary, and troubleshoot event problems. Serve as liaison and contact person for coordinating details of events with clients, outside vendors, meeting planners, and others involved in events. Design, confirm, and communicate room layouts and set-up requirements for special events. Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball to update records, files, and reservations. Transmit information or documents using computer, mail, or facsimile machine. Operate standard office equipment other than computers. Prepare weekly departmental payroll paperwork.

4. Informar al coordinador de producción y/o supervisor de procedimientos las fallas que se presentan en el equipo asignado.
5. Utilizar correctamente el equipo de seguridad y realizar sus tareas de manera que no afecte su propia seguridad y la de los demás empleados.
6. Responsable del cumplimiento de las herramientas de Lean en su área de trabajo.
**Responsabilidades relacionadas con Salud, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente (EHS):**
1. Asistir a todos los entrenamientos de Seguridad, Salud y Medio ambiente que sean asignados.
2. Cumplir con los requerimientos de 5S/MESH.
3. Responsable de velar por las normas de seguridad así como las políticas establecidas por Eaton.
